Empowering You to Dream

Martin Luther King Jr.'s iconic "I Have a Dream" speech served as a powerful catalyst for change, demanding equality and civil liberties for African Americans. His words inspired generations to stand up against discrimination and injustice. Just as King's dream ignited hope in the hearts of millions, it is essential now more than ever to extend this vision to empower women to dream big and to surpass their own expectations.

I hope future generations of women only read in history books about the iniquity and poor treatment of women.  We have come a long way but we still have a lot more work to do.  The popularity of last year’s Barbie movie proved that a movie directly marketed to women can be a huge box office hit and it can shake things up with a monologue that succinctly summarizes so many of the struggles that women face every day.

It is crucial that we encourage women to dream and to envision a future where they can pursue their passions and make an impressive and measurable positive impact. This empowerment comes through education, mentorship, and providing equal opportunities for all.  As we honor his memory, we must continue his fight so women dream even bigger than they believe is possible.
