Living Out My Dreams

I am so happy to be a coach.  I am living out a childhood dream.  I remember when I pretended to be a teacher in my bedroom and my dolls and teddy bears were my students.

Other than getting married and starting a family, one of my biggest turning points was a few years ago.  As my mother slowly drifted away with dementia, I was in survival mode.  I was depressed, eating poorly, and just going through the motions.  About 6 months after my mother passed away I knew I could not go on this way. I began a journey of personal development that lifted my spirits.  I realized that the best way to honor my mother's memory was to transform my life, career, health, and happiness.

In May of 2022, I went back to school to become a Certified Coaching Specialist. I had considered coaching about 20 years ago but like so many other women, I put my marriage and family plans first.  As a result, I went back to school, changed careers, became an entrepreneur, and launched a business in a very short period of time!  Not only that, I leveled up my fitness by adding strength training to my workouts and I started eating a protein-fruit-and-veggie diet.

For the first time in my life, I feel like my life and my career are aligned.  I have found my purpose.  I have more confidence now that I am older but also because my personal development work paid off.

I am content with my life and excited about my future.  I do what I do because I love to help people. And I really love to see them take baby steps to get what they really want.
